As the weather is heating up, I’ve been on the hunt for pieces to add to my capsule for end of spring/early summer. The 3 pieces I’ve highlighted as part of my “style multiple ways” series are definitely in the line up (denim jacket, simple tank, and kimono), but here are 3 more pieces you can expect to see in various outfits throughout the summer. Enjoy!Read More
after strawberry picking a few weeks ago, i could not wait for blueberry season to start. as much as i love strawberries, blueberries are my favorite fruit and they’re way easier to pick than strawberries. on saturday, my friend kaeleigh and i went to moonridge farms in beavercreek, oregon and picked over ten pounds of blueberries between us. the farm was beautiful, and very well maintained. they also use natural growing practices, which means they use minimal pesticides on their berries. if you’re in the portland area, i highly recommend moonridge and will put a link to their website here.
wow- two posts in one week! who am i? i was planning on updating my summer bucket list series at the end of each month, and hitting the highlights of each item. BUT this particular outing was such a fun day with my friends, i wanted to be able to share all of our experiences with you!
when i was originally creating my summer bucket list, my plan was to go to the lavender farm in hood river, because honestly i didn’t know there were other fields in the area! as this past weekend got closer, i saw on instagram that there was a field a little closer to where i live that was having a festival at the same time. even though i’m not the best with details, and had no idea what we were getting into, my friends kaeleigh, annie, and heidi all agreed to come with me to check it out! (i linked all of their instagram profiles if you click on their names 😀) we ended up going to the helvetia lavender farm and the first thing we all noticed was how friendly everyone was. From the parking attendants to the vendors, everyone made the day so smooth and enjoyable.Read More
This summer I decided early on that I wanted to make the most of the gorgeous weather here in the Pacific Northwest and explore more of my home state, Oregon. My husband helped me choose my top places to see this year, and the #xoxolovelaurasummerbucketlist was born (and is also probably one of the longest hashtags ever. Unnecessary? Probably. Oh well.) If you missed the first post, I’ll link it here so you can check out the full list.Read More

Oregon summers can start as early as May or as late as the middle of July- you never know which way it's going to go! Luckily, we have gotten some really nice weather in the last two weeks, and it has inspired me to start planning to take advantage of the beauty and fun Oregon has. So without further adieu, here is my Oregon summer bucket list!Read More
